Earl Sweatshirt has been forced to pull all European shows due to an ongoing illness.
Perhaps the most naturally talented member of the Odd Future coterie, Earl Sweatshirt is undoubtedly the most reclusive. Famously forced away from the spotlight to attend school in Samoa, the rapper retains an aura of mystery which other members of the group simply do not have.
Announcing plans for a European tour earlier this year, the wordsmith intended to join Odd Future during their live appearances. Sadly, though, a recent illness means that this will not now happen.
Taking to (what else?) Twitter to chat to fans, the rapper broke the news in all caps: "IM STILL SICK AND THIS SUCKS ASS THAT I CANT MAKE IT TO THESE JULY SHOWS I AM REALLY FUCKING SORRY TO EVERYONE WHO WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO IT".
The list of postponed shows includes an appearance at this weekend's Glastonbury festival - Worthy Farm ticket holders fear not, though, as Tyler, The Creator intends to hit up the Somerset event.
A headline show from Odd Future next week will still go ahead, but Earl Sweatshirt will not be in attendance. Earl Sweatshirt has cancelled the following UK shows:
