Bob Dylan is set to be the 100th artist to appear in the HMV advertising campaign 'My Inspiration' and has chosen lines from the Scottish poet Robert Burns as his.
The adverts for the high street record store have been running for over two years and have seen such legendary artists as David Bowie, Sir Paul McCartney and Elton John taking part.
Dylan is gearing up to release his new album 'Tell Tale Signs' - a collection of off-cuts and rarities from the last twenty years of his career. The 3-CD retrospective begins with 'Oh Mercy' and ends with the sessions for Dylan's recent Billboard number one album 'Modern Times'.
Bob Dylan has chosen the following lines from Robert Burns' poem 'A Red, Red Rose':
"O my luve is like a red, red rose
That's newly sprung in June;
O my luve's like the melodie
That's sweetly play'd in tune.
As fair art thou, my bonny lass.
So deep in luve am I;
And I will luve thee still, my dear,
Till a' the seas gang dry."
