Duffy For Polish Fest
Open'er line up confirmed
One of Poland's biggest music festivals Open'er has confirmed many of its headliners with Duffy, Placebo and The Ting Tings set to play the event.
Festivals aren't just confined to the highways and byways of Great Britain, you know. Increasingly, events on the European continent are challenging the UK's big hitters with Eastern Europe rapidly emerging as a hotbed of summer fun.
Heineken Open'er runs for four days in Poland. Last year's event was headlined by The Chemical Brothers, Muse and The Beastie Boys, and the organisers are keen to top that mammoth event.
Welsh soul star Duffy will take to the stage on the back of the global success of her album 'Rockferry'. With new material in the works and a spectacular stage show, the singer will make a great headliner.
Duffy will be joined by fellow Brits Placebo and The Ting Tings on a bill that brims with talents. Ska kings Madness will join the fun, while The Gossip and Buraka Som Sistema will be sure to rock the house.
Priced at a very reasonable 320 Polish Zloty (or roughly 60 quid) Open'er could well become the destination of choice for some disenchanted British festival goers.
Open'er takes place between July 2nd - 5th in Gdynia.
