Dr Pepper Extend Drinks Offer

Demand Crashes Firms Web Site

Drinks manufacturer Dr Pepper have been forced to extend their offer of a free can for every American citizen in honor of the new Guns 'N' Roses album, after demand crashed their website.

The firm made the sensational offer earlier this year, when the release of 'Chinese Democracy' was still only a rumor. The offer was treated as a joke at time, however it was soft drinks lovers who were laughing when the new Guns 'N' Roses album was released on Monday (November 24th).

The offer was due to last for one day only, but was extended after the company's website crashed. In addition to the extra time to order online, Dr Pepper made a free-phone number available. However, despite these efforts, reports indicate that the website is still largely inaccessible.

Good news for former Guns 'N' Roses axemen Slash and Buckethead, who were not included in the new offer.
