With Kwake Bass in tow...

Micachu has finished a new mixtape with London based producer Kwake Bass in tow.
A deeply inventive artist, Micachu blends electronic beats with home-made instruments. Somewhere in between experimental classical music, Rinse FM and DIY pop the singer's debut album 'Jewellery' was a stunning statement.
Profoundly original, the album was bookended by two mixtapes. Emerging in 2009, 'Filthy Friends' was a fun mixture of new material and grime beats. Following this with 'Kwesachu' the singer worked with London producer Kwes.
Since then, Michachu has embarked on a number of unusual projects. Temporarily leaving behind her pop work with The Shapes, the singer teamed up with the London Sinfonietta last year for a series of performances.
Matching her home made style to the avant garde classical ensemble, the performances were hailed as something completely distinct. Michachu had the shows taped, with a new live album due to be released this week.
Designed to compliment the release, Micachu has prepared a fresh mixtape. This time round, the singer has worked with London based producer Kwake Bass to complete 'Meat Batch mix'.
Opening with her own 'Melting Patio's' Micachu seems to trade tracks with the producer. Containing plenty of new and unreleased material, the two artists somehow seem to find common ground.
Dropping in a few remixes, the tape ends with Micachu's 'Go' and a final blast of 'Lady Daisy; by Kwake Bass.
