Kurt Vile has given away 'Baby's Arms' ahead of the premiere of his new video.

It's been a big year for Kurt Vile. The American singer has remained underground for some time, honing his craft on a multitude of releases. Signing with Matador, new album 'Smoke Rings For My Halo' has gained widespread praise.

A deeply affecting, at times quite psychedelic release, 'Smoke Rings For My Halo' has been accompanied by some striking videos. Opening cut 'Baby's Arms' is a case in point, with Kurt Vile's warm voice floating over some languid acoustic work.

Handed over to film maker Todd Cole, the director has responded with an inventive new short. A snapshot of day in the life of a young couple, the video was captured in its entirety on Microsoft Windows phones.
