Manchester based newcomers D/R/U/G/S are giving away recent single 'Love / Lust'.
You could be forgiven for thinking that an act named D/R/U/G/S are shameless attention seekers. However the Manchester act have a relatively low profile, letting their music speak for itself.
De-graded electronics, D/R/U/G/S are led by Callum Wright. Escaping London for Manchester, the producer takes his cue from the likes of Orbital while also admitting a debt to the techniques of hip hop.
Playing live in the studio, D/R/U/G/S jam out new material then remix themselves, cutting and pasting as they see fit. Emerging to release their recent 12 inch 'Love / Lust' the group were the talk of In The City last year.
Named as 'The Most Buzzed About Act' D/R/U/G/S are now looking to strengthen their live show across the summer. Due to play this weekend's Stag & Dagger festival, the group have also confirmed shows at Reading, Bestival and more.
As a special gift to fans, D/R/U/G/S are giving away the lead track from their latest 12 inch. 'Love / Lust' is a great track, with synth lines which seem to pirouette out the stereo and crash around the room.
