Blaqstarr has dropped a new mixtape featuring some classic cuts alongside unreleased jams.

Hailing from Baltimore, Blaqstarr made his name with a series of vital underground cuts. A forward thinking producer as well as a smooth rapper, the hip hop don has earned widespread praise.

Yet mainstream success has largely alluded him. Blaqstarr has worked with Diplo, M.I.A. and more recently, allowing his music to reach a much wider audience.

Working on new material, Blaqstarr has decided to drop a new mixtape. A good catch up for those unfamiliar with his music, the mix contains enough vital cuts and unreleased joints for the rest of us.

M.I.A., Steve Aoki, Talib Kweli and more all make guest appearances as the producer runs through some of his career highs to date. It is the unreleased material which intrigues the most, pointing to possible directions on future albums.
