Roddy Woomble's new project Drever, McCusker and Woomble has made a new track available for download, ahead of their latest UK tour.

A new project uniting some of Scotland's finest young talents, the group move past tartan tat to focus on the true traditional roots of Scottish music.

Roddy Woomble is familiar from his work with Idlewild, and the singer has assembled a stunning band - John McCusker, for example, has earned a justifiable reputation as one of the best folk guitarists in Britain.

The band recently played on BBC2's Culture Show and caused such as fuss their label have decided to make the performance available as a free download. You can hear 'Into The Blue' by clicking here!
