The Don't Look Back series of retrospective shows continues with GZA and Sebadoh it has been announced. To see out 2007, GZA / Genius will be performing his 1995 hip-hop classic “Liquid Swords”, whilst to see in 2008, Lou Barlow's Sebadoh will be performing his album “Bubble and Scrape”.
GZA / Genius takes to the stage on December 9th, and the erstwhile Wu Tang Clan member will certainly have a few tricks up his sleeve when performing his martial arts tribute “Liquid Swords”. Sebadoh will tread the boards on May 7th, recreating 1992's “Bubble and Scrape” - an album that, despite its indie status, sold 10,000 copies in its first week.
These shows follow a hugely acclaimed concert by The Cowboy Junkies, who chose to recreate their classic album “The Contino Sessions” with alt country superstar Ryan Adams.
