Doherty / Marr Jam
Amazing Online Footage Emerges
Pete Doherty has apparently achieved another lifetime ambition, as online footage emerges of the singer jamming with former Smiths guitar slinger Johnny Marr.
The Babyshambles frontman has posted a video of himself and Johnny Marr playing together online. The video features the pair playing a version of the early Smiths classic "Jeane". Named after Oscar Wilde's lovechild it was recorded with producer Troy Tate yet never appeared on an official album. It eventually emerged on the B-side to hit single "This Charming Man".
Doherty has been collecting heroes recently, with a clip emerging last month of the singer teaming up with reclusive musical legend Lee Mavers. The pair jammed a version of The La's classic "Over".
Former Smith Johnny Marr is currently a busy man - a full time member of The Cribs as well as being involved with Modest Mouse, the Manchester legend is proving that their is plenty of magic in those fingers yet.
