V Festival has expanded its bill yet again with the gates being flung open to American group The Dodos and Carbon / Silicon amongst others.
This year's V Festival looks set to be one of the best ever with the organisers inviting a host of new bands onto the bill. Punk legends Mick Jones and Tony James will grace the stage at the event with new group Carbon / Silicon, and they will be joined by US alt folk duo The Dodos, Attic Lights, Das Pop and more.
The festival is spread over two sites, Chelmsford and Stafford, and this year's headliners include Canadian warbler Alanis Morissette, Welsh rock gods Stereophonics and other massive groups such as The Kooks and Maximo Park.
V annually endures criticism from some quarters due to its 'commercial' bill, but with acts like that it looks as if the massive crowds will be kept well entertained - plus at least the toilets are clean.
V Festival takes place between August 16th - 17th in Chelmsford and Stafford.
