DJ Hell / Bryan Ferry Join Forces

New collaboration emerges

Techno titan DJ Hell is set to join forces with one time Roxy Music frontman Bryan Ferry.

The epitome of lounge cool, Bryan Ferry dominated British music in the 70s in a manner that can only be compared to David Bowie.

Effortlessly cool, his group Roxy Music broke boundaries and chart records with a stream of hugely successful albums. Heading out on his own, Bryan Ferry became an acclaimed solo star in his own right.

Now better known for Dylan covers and for his gentrified life style, the iconic singer is set to team up with filthy techno star DJ Hell.

One of the most influential names in European dance music, DJ Hell's productions are always worth waiting for. Head of the International Deejay Gigolo label, the debauchery of the dancefloor extends to all areas of the producer's life.

A perfect foil for Bryan Ferry's poise and charm, then. The pair have come together to record a new track 'U Can Dance' which is due for release early next year.

In a statement the pair revealed that they first met back in 2006, when the German dancefloor icon visited Ferry's studio in West London.

At first, DJ Hell wanted to remix an old Roxy Music track but then decided to work on an unreleased Bryan Ferry solo track instead.

"It's always a pleasure to work with people from that genre, who follow a singular groove," said Bryan Ferry.

Accompanied by a typically stylish video, the promo has been shot by Jo Apps - sometime Big Pink members and sister of Patrick Wolf.

DJ Hell / Bryan Ferry are due to release 'U Can Dance' in January. Remixes come courtesy of Simian Mobile Disco, Carl Craig and Tim Goldsworthy of DFA Records.

Interesting stuff. New great music is rare these days.
I am a fan of Michael Jackson, and Michael Jackson music lyrics, and albums. There is no more interesting story than the History of Michael Jackson.
