Dizzee / Harris Re-Unite
Stars to perform on the beach
Two of Britain's biggest stars are to re-unite this summer with Dizzee Rascal and Calvin Harris due to perform at this year's T4 On The Beach.
The twin talents united on last summer's smash hit 'Dance Wiv Me'. The single used a dance backing crafted by Harris and some mean rhymes courtesy of Dizzee Rascal, becoming one of the year's best selling singles.
Both parties are set to release new albums this year. Dizzee Rascal appears to have been inspired by his involvement with Calvin Harris, recruiting Dutch superstar DJ Armend Van Helden for his forthcoming single 'Bonkers'.
Of course, this isn't the only festival appearance Dizzee Rascal will make. The rapper is due to headline Scotland's RockNess event, and will also perform at Newcastle's Evolution festival - the biggest such event in the North East.
Dumfries born producer Calvin Harris, meanwhile, has been working on his new album which is said to take an old school rave direction. The pair will headline at the one day event, which is due to take place at Weston-Super-Mare.
T4 On The Beach sees the Channel 4 program bring some of music's biggest names to the beach. With the famously variable British weather the event can go either way, but in the past the sun has shone and the crowds have given acts a wild reception.
Also due to perform at the event are Alesha Dixon, Metro Station and The Saturdays. The full line up has yet to be announced, with updates on the T4 website revealing all the latest names on the bill.
T4 On The Beach is set to take place on July 19th.
