Disclosure have shared new video 'Help Me Lose My Mind' alongside a short batch of 2014 tour dates.
Disclosure have dominated 2013. Taking a deep house infused, pop-heavy sound to the top of the charts, the duo have been transformed from underground producers into a mainstream sensation.
With their debut album receiving a nod on the Mercury shortlist, Disclosure are set to end the year on a high. New single 'Help Me Lose My Mind' arrives on October 28th, featuring the vocals of none other than London Grammar.
Fellow acclaimed newcomers, London Grammar pair up with Disclosure on a deliciously infectious new single. The video for the release matches hallucinogenic club scenes to a mundane depiction of every day life, as a group of young people attempt to grapple their way to freedom.
The video for 'Help Me Lose My Mind' has now been pulled from the internet by Disclosure's label, PMR. Seemingly, the video featured flagrant drug use which flies in total contravention of the label's policies. In a statement PMR said:
"The video for Disclosure’s new single was revealed this morning and as with previous Disclosure videos, it was about the connection of people having a good time, something that Disclosure want associated with their music and what we hope people have done when they’ve seen the band live or while listening to their music. Unfortunately the video has received a few comments referencing the use of drugs within the video."
“PMR feel very strongly against the glamorisation of drugs in any capacity and as such we have made the decision to remove the video."
