DJ Whoo Kid's interview with Tim Westwood last night appears to have stoked things up between Drake and Chris Brown.

Two of the biggest figures in hip hop, Drake and Chris Brown's awkward love triangle with Rihanna recently broke out into a Twitter feud. Fans speculated over the rift but - as hip hop beefs go - this one was pretty tame.

Now an interview on Radio 1 seems to have fuelled the flames of speculation (via Music Mix). DJ Whoo Kid was chatting to Tim Westwood, and suggested that Drake and Chris Brown had apparently come to blows.

“Thank God there’s Drake right now,” Whoo Kid said. “He has at least eight records on the radio that’s killing it. Him and Rihanna supposedly fooled around. I think he got elbowed by Chris Brown, too, but that never came out.”

Teasing the presenter, Whoo Kid was then asked what happened. “In the chin, like in the corner. Left part,” he explained. “Man down. Simple as that.”

As an update, DJ Whoo Kid then Tweeted that he was simply joking on the radio. A spokesperson for Drake said: “the Whoo Kid story is completely fabricated and not true.”

It's an intriguing thought, though...
