Devo's Bob Casale Passes Away

Due to conditions that led to heart failure...
Bob Casale

A profoundly individual band, the bonds between Devo have lasted across the decades.

Continuously aspiring to break boundaries, the group hinge on the relationship between two sets of brothers. Formed in 1972, Gerald Casale and Mark Mothersbaugh invited Robert Mothersbaugh (Bob 1) and Bob Casale (Bob 2) to help form the group.

Sadly, Bob Casale has now passed away. In a short statement, Gerard Casale broke the news to fans, explaining that the musician passed away due to conditions that led to heart failure.

As an original member of Devo, Bob Casale was there in the trenches with me from the beginning. He was my level-headed brother, a solid performer and talented audio engineer, always giving more than he got. He was excited about the possibility of Mark Mothersbaugh allowing Devo to play shows again. His sudden death from conditions that lead to heart failure came as a total shock to us all.

Here's '(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction)'.
