Devendra Banhart has confirmed plans for three UK shows - ticket details below.
Devendra Banhart has always been a mercurial, unpredictable talent. Yet with 'Mala' the songwriter may just have completed work on the most mature, well rounded and impressive album of his career.
Out today (March 11th) 'Mala' was recorded in Los Angeles, and finds Devendra Banhart relaxing in the studio with friends. Previewing the material at a handful of Stateside shows, the songwriter now has his sights fixed on Europe.
Announcing a series of shows, the American artist will drop past the UK for a trio of live dates. Opening in Brighton on June 28th, Devendra Banhart will then play shows in Manchester and London.
Set to play the capital's historic Barbican venue, the July 18th show will find the songwriter matching material from 'Mala' with his typically idiosyncratic back catalogue.
Tickets go on sale tomorrow (March 5th).
Devendra Banhart is set to play the following shows:
28 Brighton The Old Market
17 Manchester The Ritz
18 London Barbican
