Death Cab Return

US alt rock stars Death Cab For Cutie are set to return soon with UK appearances planned alongside the July 17th release of new single "Cath".

Death Cab For Cutie are massive in the US where they can boast a number one album in the form of the recent "Narrow Stairs" LP. On this side of the Atlantic, meanwhile, the group have languished in obscurity with the afore mentioned "Narrow Stairs" becoming only the group's first Top 25 entry.

The second single taken from the group's new album, "Cath" is released via Atlantic Records on July 21st. Produced by the band's own Chris Walla, the single is a sharp slab of angular rock, and sets the band up well for a busy summer. Having already played a series of dates in Britain, Death Cab For Cutie are gearing up for a full scale tour as well as a host of festival appearances.

Death Cab For Cutie will release "Cath" on July 21st. The band will play the following tour dates:

July 15th - Birmingham, Academy
July 16th - Manchester, Apollo
July 17th - Brixton, Academy
July 18th - Latitude Festival, Henham Park
