Death As Sea are set to release their debut single ‘Drag’ / ‘Selfless’ through Kissability / Transgressive on October 22nd.
Death At Sea are from all corners of the UK, yet seem to be drawn to the mystical ley-lines of Liverpool. Forming there, the band have set up base in the city yet remain independent, somewhat estranged from the scene at large.
With only a handful of gigs under their belt, Death At Sea are already causing a label scrum. Thankfully, the band have decided to go down the independent route for their upcoming debut single ‘Drag’ / ‘Selfless’. Tying up a deal with Kissability, the partnership is aided by the good people at Transgressive.
Out on October 22nd, it matches the band's scruffy, lo-fi vibes (think Pavement, Sebadoh's pop centric moments) to a near psychedelic sheen which recalls Echo & The Bunnymen.
