US electro producer Dan Deacon is set to expand minds on this side of the Atlantic after announcing a series of British shows.
Deacon emerged from New York music scene. A conservatively trained musician, Deacon initially played tuba before joining a grindcore band. Deacon then settled on electro as his genre of choice, although his work includes a vast variety of influences.
His last album - "Spiderman Of The Rings" - was a huge success, earning Deacon plaudits from across the globe. Now based in Baltimore, he is part of a new wave of exciting electronic music emerging from the area.
