Kentucky alt country starlet Dawn Landes has announced a series of UK live dates for March and April.

Landes, a former recording engineer, has a strong traditional influence in her songs, as much influenced by Woody Guthrie as modern singer-songwriters such as Regina Spektor. Second album "Fireproof" is a sweet mixture of old and new, and has garnered much critical acclaim.

Dawn Landes will play the following UK tour dates:

April 4th - Leeds, Brudenell Social Club
April 5th - St Albarns, The Albarn Arena
