Danny Brown has confirmed plans for a nationwide UK tour next year.
One of hip hop's true characters, Danny Brown has dominated 2013 in his own inimitable fashion. 'Old' was rapturously received, with Clash reviewer Marcus J. Moore marvelling at the "free-wheeling, Molly-popping collection of dizzying trap-rap set atop an equally unnerving soundtrack (courtesy of producers Paul White, Oh No and SKYWLKR, among others). It’s clear Danny is dealing with some demons, but his issues don’t dampen the mood."
Live, though, is where the rapper really excels. Playing a number of festival shows this summer, Danny Brown will open 2014 with a full European tour including a number of UK shows.
Opening with a show at London's historic KOKO venue, the tour then hits Brighton and Manchester. Playing a one off Irish show in Dublin on February 25th, the tour ends with a visit to Glasgow venue The Arches.
One more time... here's Danny Brown's riotous Boiler Room session.
Danny Brown is set to play the following shows:
21 London KOKO
22 Brighton Coalition
23 Manchester Gorilla
25 Dublin Academy
26 Glasgow The Arches
