Daniel Avery is set to release his new EP 'Need Electric' through Phantasy Sound on July 13th.

Daniel Avery's idiosyncratic approach to crate digging has seen the DJ build up a formidable reputation. At first using the moniker STOPMAKINGME, the turntablist recently decided to return to the name his mother gave him.

Coinciding with some richly deserved hype, Daniel Avery is now focussing on a new EP. Hooking up with Phantasy Sound, upcoming EP 'Need Electric' is set to be released on July 13th.

Already earning high praise, here's a quick quote from Andrew Weatherall:

“He makes gimmick-free machine-funk of the highest order. There were times in 2011 when part of my set was pretty much an Avery mega-mix, and I sense that those mega-mixes will only get longer in 2012.”
