Dan Le Sac Seek Dizzee
New album in the works
Spoken word oddballs Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip are desperately trying to arrange a collaboration with Dizzee Rascal.
The pair met when electronic whizz kid Dan Le Sac walked into one of Scroobius Pip's spoken word gigs. The two hit it off, and began working on tracks unsure of where it would lead them. Not quite hip hop, not quite electronica the duo exist in an entirely unique universe.

Often pegged as being a novelty act, much of the band's material is actually quite dark. However in the past Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip have teamed up with hip hop legends De La Soul for a version of their track 'Thou Shalt Always Kill'.
However it seems that the group aren't going to stop there. Currently working on their second album, Scroobius Pip recently told BBC Newsbeat that the pair had crafted a song that would be perfect for the award winning rapper.
“We've done a few gigs now with Dizzee Rascal and we want to have a chat and, if he's got time, get him on one; but we've never been one for just picking names because they're names,” he said.
The duo recorded a song on their first album called 'Fixed', which sampled Dizzee Rascal's hit 'Fix Up Look Sharp'.
"On the last album we did a re-write of one of his tracks so the first time we met, I thought: 'Is he going to be annoyed with us?' But he was really nice and cool with it. If we see each other about we chat. Semtex, his DJ, is into our stuff and we chat every now and again."
"We'll send over a beat and an email and if it happens it happens, if not there's a lot of great people out there as well."
Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip released their first album 'Angles' last year, with the spoken word artist also hoping to work with Riz MC and Peggy Sue.
Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip are set to release their second album towards the end of the year.
