Damon Albarn Plays Five Hour Roskilde Set

Security eventually haul the singer offstage...

Damon Albarn seems to be having the time of his life.

Fresh from a flurry of Blur shows, the singer assisted on a new opera which opens at the Manchester International Festival this week.

Taking the Africa Express project to Roskilde festival, Damon Albarn played a lengthy set which included guest slots from Blur bandmate Graham Coxon, Yeah Yeah Yeahs' Nick Zinner, Laura Mvula, Songhoy Blues and Seye Adeklan.

And then it kept going… and going… and going… After five hours, security intervened – hauling Damon Albarn offstage while the crowd sang 'Should I Stay Or Should I Go?' by The Clash.

Check out footage of the incident below. (via NME)
