Today (January 20th) is Blue Monday.
Traditionally - or, at least, urban myth holds - this is the most depressing time of the year, a period which seems hopelessly far away from Christmas, summer and anything else remotely fun.
Thankfully, Latitude have stepped in with an extremely exciting announcement. The festival is set to welcome Damon Albarn as a headliner this summer, with the set coinciding with the release of solo full length 'Everyday Robots'.
The Blur songwriter will play his sole UK festival set of the summer at Latitude, drawing on the full power of his back catalogue.
Elsewhere, Royksopp and Robyn have been confirmed for the bill, with the likes of HAIM, Billy Bragg, soul legend Booker T. Jones, Anna Calvi, Nils Frahm and more being added to the line up.
The new additions join previously confirmed names such as Northern Ireland's finest, Two Door Cinema Club.
Tickets are on sale now.
Latitude runs between July 17th - 20th.
