Crystal Antlers Confirm New Tour Details

California indie rockers Crystal Antlers are set to break their Mexican exile with a new series of tour dates.

All that sun must go to their heads. Crystal Antlers are part of a new breed of noise rockers hailing from California who seem keen to recall the spirit (but not the sound) of the 80s underground rock scene.

Taking their cue from the likes of My Bloody Valentine and sundry other British shoegaze merchants, Crystal Antlers have a seriously unhinged edge. Debut album 'Tentacles' saw the band rein in their chaotic tendencies, achieving critical acclaim in the process.

The final slice of new music released by revered imprint Touch And Go the album will remain on the label's catalogue. Now working without a label Crystal Antlers recently shipped out to Mexico to work on new material.

The band are now ready to showcase the results. Working in La Punda the Californian group formed the house band at Los Gordos Cantina. Crystal Antlers have now confirmed that two tracks recorded during their Mexican sojourn are available for download.

Set to be released on limited edition red vinyl, the tracks come as Crystal Antlers prepare to perform at this year's SXSW showcase. After this the Californian group are set to head to the UK for a batch of dates.

Opening on April 26th in London the shows take in the length and breadth of the UK. Crystal Antlers will wrap up their stay in Britain with a set in Liverpool's Masque venue on May 6th. Tickets are available now!
