The Cribs' New Single Release

New Double-A Side Released 29th October

The Cribs make a dramatic return after a successful summer festival season with the release of a new double A-side single on 7 inch and CD formats. Featuring both “Don't You Want To Be Relevant?” and fans favourite “Our Bovine Public” it demonstrates The Cribs edgy indie sound as they try to build on the success of their last hit single, “Moving Pictures”.

The single also represents the reuniting of The Cribs with their mentor Edwyn Collins. A career with Orange Juice inventing the notion of indie-pop Collins became a noted producer before being sadly sidelined due to a brain haemorrhage. The Cribs become the first to record with him since his illness, and the result is the bonus track “Kind Words From The Broken Hearted”.

The Cribs tour later this month:

9th November – University Great Hall, Cardiff, Wales

Supporting Bloc Party in December:

12th December – Glasgow SECC
13th December – Manchester Central G-Mex
14th December – London Alexandra Palace
