'Celebrity Skin' quartet back in rehearsals...
Courtney Love

Ah, the ever unpredictable world of Courtney Love.

The grunge icon seems to thrive on chaos, moving swiftly between projects, line ups and genres.

Plotting a solo tour later this year, the singer agreed to take part in a small round of media interviews. Chatting to theQuietus, Courtney Love revealed that she has been rehearsing with a classic Hole line up.

It's the 'Celebrity Skin' quartet, featuring Melissa Auf Der Maur, Eric Erlandson and Patty Schemel - a grouping who last played together in 2002.

"I started playing with Patty and Melissa and Eric, just to see how that was" she explained. "We already played like three or four times in the last week."

Just before Christmas, Courtney Love posted a picture of herself and Eric Erlandson on Facebook promising that "2014 going to be a very interesting year..."

Currently, though, Courtney Love is concentrating on the following UK shows:

May
11 London Sheperds Bush Empire
12 London Sheperds Bush Empire
13 Manchester Academy
15 Glasgow O2 Academy
16 Leeds O2 Academy
18 Birmingham O2 Academy
19 Bristol O2 Academy
20 Nottingham Rock City
