"I don’t want to get on the oldies circuit..."
Courtney Love

Earlier this year, Courtney Love appeared to intimate that she would be willing to reform the classic 90s line up of Hole.

The singer has seemingly stepped into a rehearsal room with Eric Erlandson, Patty Schemel and Melissa Auf Der Maur, emerging re-energised in the process.

Now, though, Courtney Love has ruled out any reformation. Speaking to Philippine website Inquirer.net (via Consequence of Sound) the singer explained that she wanted to move forward.

"I don’t want to get on the oldies circuit," she said. "I don’t need to do that for money. I want to put out music that is relevant today. (Being) one of the last chicks in a rock ‘n’ roll band is a weird place to be. It’s scary not to be selling out."

Focussing on her solo career, Courtney Love is also planning to pen her memoirs.
