Converse have just unveiled 'Represent', a summer music series inviting fans and artists to represent their music and celebrate musical diversity at the 100 Club, the longest running popular music venue in the world.

Over 9 nights, 45 artists will take to the stage including headline acts: Plan B, Nas, Paul Weller, SBTRKT, Santigold, Toots and the Mayals, UK Subs, Overkill, Django Django, Best Coast and some very special guests (to be announced at a later date).

The 100 Club has seen many legends walk through its door with the likes of Oasis and the Sex Pistols, and still sees many big acts today with the likes of Alice Cooper and The Vaccines.

The venue was in danger of closing recently and couldn’t raise the money themselves to keep it opened, until Converse kindly stepped in and saved the historic venue which began in 1942 and has celebrated a diverse catalogue of music ever since.

From July 30th through to August 10th there is only one place to be this summer and tickets are FREE via www.converse.co.uk/represent.

The gigs will also be streamed online so fans around the world can enjoy the biggest names in music playing in one of the most intimate and meaningful venues still in existence.
