Conor Oberst has made no secret of his intentions to return to the studio.

Speaking to Rolling Stone last year, the songwriter explained that work was already under way on his new album, with Jonathan Wilson overseeing production while First Aid Kit stop by on guest vocals.

Now the results are almost ready. New album 'Upside Down Mountain' will be released on May 19th, with the material said to have a country flavour.

Album track 'Hundreds Of Ways' will be given a Record Store Day release (April 19th) backed with outtake 'Fast Friends' on the flip.
