Coldplay For Roskilde

Roskilde in Denmark has grown to become one of Europe's top events, and this year the crowds will be kept entertained by British giants Coldplay.

With the success of 'Viva La Vida' propelling Coldplay into the premiere league of acts, the group have become one of the most in-demand names around for festival organisers. Set beside the ancient city of Roskilde, the festival has grown to host over 100,000 music fans in a weekend that has a reputation for stunning music and a great atmosphere.

Founded in 1971 by three students, it is now one of the premiere events on the European festival calendar. This year organisers have pulled of a massive coup in bagging Coldplay, as the British group have not played a festival anywhere since 2003.

So far the only band confirmed to play the Roskilde festival, Coldplay will be joined by a host of other acts as more information is released shortly.

Roskilde Festival takes place between July 2nd - 5th.
