Coldplay Return To Studio
Band begin work on new material
British globe slaying stadium rockers Coldplay have revealed that they are returning to the studio to begin work on new material.
The one time indie favourites have entered the big leagues. Coldplay released their last album 'Via La Vida Or Death And All His Friends' last year, and the record promptly topped the charts in over 25 countries worldwide. A huge hit in the United States, it saw Chris Martin and co. become household names.
Sessions for that album were so productive the band were able to release a bonus EP - 'Prospekt's March' - comprised entirely of material written for the album.
The band are set to return to the studio with Brian Eno, the famed sonic sculptor who also assisted U2 in the making of their upcoming album 'No Line On The Horizon'.
Coldplay announced on Twitter today (January 23rd) that they are "back in the studio for a couple of weeks". There are no details on when this material will be released.
The sun never sets on the Coldplay empire, with the band set to begin a Japanese tour in February.
