January release due

American blues rockers Cold War Kids are set to return in 2010 with their new EP 'Behave Yourself'.
Hailing from California, Cold War Kids were four friends fired up by emerging indie rock sounds. Taking the skinny riffs of The Strokes and blending it with the classic rock interplay of The Rolling Stones, the band quickly gathered a cult following.
Stunning live, Cold War Kids released several EPs before deciding to nail down some tracks on a full length release. Taking their time, debut album 'Robbers And Cowards' was released in 2006 to warm acclaim.
ClashMusic were huge fans, placing the album on our Top 40 of the year. Touring widely the band cracked the charts in Britain with their debut record becoming a cult success.
Since then Cold War Kids have travelled across the world before returning home to the West Coast to being sessions on a new album. Released last summer 'Loyalty To Loyalty' stormed in the upper echelons of the Billboard charts, reaching number three on the independent countdown.
Now Cold War Kids are set to return with a new batch of material. Released on January 19th, the band insist that the new material has nothing to do with their debut album.
"These songs were recorded some time between 'loyalty' sessions and now. They didn't belong there, but they kept hanging around, starting trouble; made friends, and insisted that their story be heard," said singer Nathan Willett.
