Club AC30 have announced the details of their Christmas shindig that they're hosting at The Water Rats Theatre on 20th December this year.
The party is set to feature live performances from Echo Lake, Novella and SPC ECO, as well as DJ sets from Mat Flint and Dominic Gourlay. The party will be Echo Lake's last show of what has been an emotionally turbulent year for the band. They put out their debut LP 'Wild Peace' back in July to almost universal critical acclaim but any joy they would have usually felt was far outweighed by the tragic death of their drummer Pete Hayes less then a month earlier, who was only 25 at the time.
Echo Lakes shimmering dream pop will be complemented with the support slots filled by the fuzzy lo-fi stylings of Novella and SPC ECO's wall of noise aural assaults. To get everybody feeling that festive cheer there'll also be free cakes, party hats and mince pies on offer, as well as copies of the Discordian Ink designed poster mounted onto recycled board handed to the first 50 folks through the door.
Doors open at 7:30pm so get down early if you want to be able to hang a picture of naked Santa alongside your other Christmas decorations.
Tickets are priced at a more than reasonable 8 quid, so if you're stuck for present ideas for your music loving loved ones you can purchase them HERE.
