Chris Brown is set to be sued over a fight between his entourage and Frank Ocean.
Although the pair had sparred in the press, few had expected the row between Chris Brown and Frank Ocean to spill over into violence. Yet earlier this year R&B's bete noire came face-to-face with Frank Ocean, due to both booking studio time at the same studio.
A face off between their respective crews developed, before fists were thrown. Now Frank Ocean's cousin Sha'keir Duarte has signalled his intention to take legal action against Chris Brown, making allegations of assault and battery.
Duarte alleges that he suffered a concussion, humiliation, and mental anguish as a result of the incident. Chris Brown's lawyer Mark Geragos, meanwhile, told Billboard that the case was without merit: "This is what gives lawyers and lawsuits a bad name is garbage like this".
Frank Ocean had previously tweeted to fans indicating that he would not be pressing charges: "no criminal charges. no civil lawsuit. forgiveness, albeit difficult, is wisdom. peace, albeit trite, is what i want in my short life. peace."
Clash recently took another look at Frank Ocean's breakthrough album 'Channel ORANGE'. Does it live up to its reputation one year on? Find out HERE.
