Chet Faker has posted a free, three track 'Live Sessions' EP recorded in rural Australia.
Perhaps not known for its electronic scene, the past 12 months has seen Australia spit forth a number of hugely talented producers. Flume you might well know - he's a former Ones To Watch star, after all - but the young laptop maverick is far from the only beatsmith catching our attention.
Chet Faker could be next in line to gain wider attention. Last year the producer sat down in rural Australia for a quick live session, re-working several tracks in his own inimitable style.
The results are spectacular. Burial's 'Archangel' is turned inside out, while Black Streets’ hip hop classic ‘No Diggity’ is turned into an introverted, woozy piece of electronics. Matched by his own ‘Love and Feeling’ that live session acts as a potent introduction to the young Australia.
Now the producer has placed the entire session online as a free download. 'Live Sessions' EP is available now - download it HERE or stream the results below.
