Promoters to curate stage

Brand new North Wales music event Festival No.6 has announced that Caught by the River and Faber Social will curate the Estuary Stage at this year’s event.

Headlining the Estuary Stage on the Friday night will be unique rock outfit British Sea Power, who will be accompanied by an array of artists such as Toy, Kenny Anderson (AKA King Creosote), Stealing Sheep, Jonny Trunk, author of ‘Do It For Your Mum. Do It For your Mum’ Roy Wilkinson and many more.

Other acts playing over the weekend’s different stages include Primal Scream, New Order, Spiritualized, Richard Hawley and Gruff Rhys.

The luscious site of Portmeirion is other worldly with its sub-tropical vegetation and superlatively surreal Mediterranean architecture, making it the perfect festival hotspot for the music lover wanting something different and unique.

As the organisers themselves put it: “You can sleep in a castle, a boutique tipi or your own tent. Watch a headline band in the lush colourful gardens, catch a comedian in the historical town hall, stroll to a string ensemble on the estuary promenade or lose yourself to your favourite DJ.”

The festival wants to make the line up as extra special as the scenery, and with a bespoke team of curators that have worked on such events as Snowbombing, The Warehouse Project, Lounge On The Farm, Park Life and Beach Break Live, it’s looking like it will be the perfect end to the summer.

The festival runs from 14th-16th September, with weekend camping tickets starting from £99.
