Carl Barat is set to hook up with London four piece Eyes On Film for a series of live shows.

Strange days, for Carl Barat. The one time enfant terrible of the indie scene is now more at home in the theatre, turning his hand to acting for a series of productions.

However the urge to plug in an electric guitar and writhe around onstage is clearly proving to be too great. Carl Barat has agreed to hook up with Eyes On Film, providing second guitar at a number of upcoming shows.

Barat will make his debut with Eyes On Film at Proud Galleries on August 16th. Part of the Bad Sex club night, the band are currently working on a follow up to recent EP 'Something Wicked (This Way Comes)'.

The collaboration is pretty loose, with Carl Barat simply wanting to help out some friends. It's unclear how long the team up will last, although given the fluid nature of the Libertine's career thus far anything is possible.
