Caribou November Tour Dates

Producer to tour UK

Canadian in exile Caribou has confirmed a number of British tour dates throughout November.

Real name Dan Snaith, Caribou is one of the most beguiling producers in electronic music. A Canadian in exile, Snaith left behind a career in academia to pursue his love of distorted beats and twisted samples.

Returning this year with his new album ‘Swim’ the producer has won plaudits far outside of his usual fan base. The eclectic samples give the album a life of its own, with Caribou’s painstaking production techniques to the fore.

Unusually for an electronic act, Caribou’s live show is completely bewitching. The producer extends material, even throwing in the odd rarity or new sample demonstrating that his albums are stop off points on a continuing journey.

Now the producer has confirmed a series of new tour dates. Taking place throughout November the tour will contain some very special shows.

On November 19th Caribou is set to play a date at London’s Coronet venue. Joining the Canadian producer will be a roll call of electronic talent including a live performance from Four Tet.

Fresh from the success of his new album, Four Tet will perform alongside James Holden and Nathan Fake. A stunning line up, the party launches Caribou’s extensive British tour throughout November.

Meanwhile, Caribou has confirmed details of his new single. Taken from ‘Swim’ the track ‘Sun’ is due to be released on August 16th. An eye opening slice of psycho-tronica (new genre of the day, folks!) ‘Sun’ is a highpoint of the producer’s live sets.

Caribou has confirmed the following shows:

19 London Coronet
20 Manchester Warehouse Project
21 Glasgow O2 ABC
22 Leeds Social Brudenell
23 Bristol Thekla
24 Brighton Coalition
