Canadian Music Week Returns
With Bloc Party and more
Canadian Music Week is set to return, with British indie giants Bloc Party set to play two very special shows alongside a host of guests.
A massive showcase event, Canadian Music Week celebrates everything that is great and good about music in that country, and beyond. When Canadian music includes Arcade Fire, Broken Social Scene, Fiest and many more - you know its going to be good!
Showcasing their love it or loathe it third album 'Intimacy', Bloc Party are set to play two very special concerts at the event. The festival runs for five days, with over 500 artists taking part.
Held in a variety of venues across Toronto, CMW is a great place to see your favourite band - or discover something entirely new.
Like a slightly colder version of SXSW, the event has risen in prominence in recent years bagging a number of exclusive performances. Also on the bill this year is a hometown performance by electronic duo Crystal Castles, who will perform at the annual Indie Awards.
A celebration of all things independent, the awards take place during Canadian Music Week and are one of Canadian music's most extravagant ceremonies.
Canadian Music Week takes place between March 11th - 15th.
