US blues rockers Cage The Elephant have sadly announced that they are to cancel this weekend's gigs after singer Matt suffered an accident in the US.
The band released their self-titled debut album earlier this year, and its party sounds have become a soundtrack to the festival season. At Scotland's recent Rockness event the band played an extremely raucous set that involved some members in full drag with a "I Love Clash" badge worn as a nipple piercing!
Matt was extremely apologetic, saying that "we are absolutely gutted that we can't be there this weekend and can't wait to get over to the UK as soon as we can".
The date at Glasgow King Tuts will be rescheduled for a later date.
