Cage The Elephant : Tour Dates

After a year that saw them lay waste to venues up and down the country and unleash their frantic strut 'n' roll debut, Kentucky rock heroes Cage The Elephant have mapped their first UK live shows for '09, which will see them play Newcastle, Coventry and Leeds in May.

Crowdsurfing their way across the UK with their mash of Stones-indebted riffage and rebel-rock 'tude, Cage The Elephant proved to be one of the of the Festival seasons' highlights last year and contenders for the new mantle of lairiest band in rock (read our previous Clash Music live review here).

The band released the last single from their debut last week in the shape of 'Back Against The Wall', and will retreat for some much needed recuperation following their whirlwind year after the shows below.
