Cadence Weapon has stepped in to remix Liars' 'Brats' - turning it into a swaggering hip hop monster.
Liars seem to look at music and think: why not? Veering between styles, genres the band's back catalogue contains more diversions, about turns and expected deviations than we care to list. However no one at Clash ever expected Liars to branch into hip hop.
Yet with a new Cadence Weapon remix that's exactly what's happened, with the Canadian rapper stepping in to re-work 'Brats'. Taken from recent album 'WIXIW', Cadence Weapon rips 'Brats' apart building an almost entirely new track in the process. Yet hints of Liars remain - in the sound, in the production and of course in the unexpected approach.
