Brian Eno

Legendary musical maverick Brian Eno has created a new application called Bloom for the iPhone, which will allow music fans to create and listen to track on their phone.

Brian Eno has helped create a new musical application for the iPhone. The maverick producer helmed the desk for Coldplay's recent global smash hit 'Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends', but has always been keen to push the barriers of technology in the music industry.

Aside from his production work and extensive solo career, Eno is perhaps best known for providing the start up tone for Windows 95. The musician was offered the job, and responded by creating over 50 short bursts of music.

Bloom allows the user to make their own tracks, and at the moment is focussed on electronic music. A collaborative effort, Peter Chilvers was also heavily involved in the creative process.

Bloom, for iPhones, is available now.
