One off show confirmed

Brandon Flowers is the latest artist to be added to the line up for this year's Eden Sessions.

Stepping outside the confines of The Killers, Brandon Flowers had little expectations from his solo project. However the Las Vegas songwriter could hardly have expected one of the biggest hits of his career.

Debut solo album 'Flamingo' was an enormous commercial success, hitting the top spot on the UK charts. Since then, Brandon Flowers has re-joined The Killers for a one off Christmas single released in December.

Rumours of new material followed the band, but Brandon Flowers seems content to work by himself for the time being. Arranging a number of summer dates, the singer is due to appear at the Eden Sessions.

The one off show will take place in the grounds of the unique Cornwall venue The Eden Project. Set to play one of the largest sets of his solo career to date, Brandon Flowers will be joined by a stellar supporting cast.

Mystery Jets returned with their new album 'Sertonin' last year, and the Eel Pie Island crew are due to perform at the Eden Sessions alongside Brandon Flowers. The show takes place on July 12th, following shows from the likes of Primal Scream, The Flaming Lips, Fleet Foxes and more.

Tjarko Wieringa, Eden Sessions Creative Director, said: “Brandon is one of the most recognisable and exciting artists around the moment and we’re really excited that he’ll be coming to Eden this summer."

"Flamingo was one of the best al-bums of last year and Brandon has proved both with The Killers and during his solo shows that he is one of the best live performers there is.”

Tickets are on sale now.
