Boss Hog are set to release new album 'Brood X' on March 24th.
The legendary New York outfit scorched a trail through the cusp of the early 90s, with their feral live shows allied to some outrageous studio recordings.
New album 'Brood X' drops on March 24th, with Cristina Martinez resurrecting the band's noise-heavy blues-sludge sound.
Christina explains: "There are different broods of cicadas emerging in cyclical periods, there are 13-year cicadas and 17-year cicadas. That’s what Boss Hog is like – we’re operating on our own cycle. We go underground for a number of years, re-emerge, make beautiful sounds, and then go away. That’s our cyclical life."
Taken from the full length, new cut 'Formula X' is online now – visceral, boiling hot guitar bedlam, you can tune in below.
Catch Boss Hog at London's Oslo venue on February 3rd.
