Bonnaroo Line Up Confirmed

Bruce Springsteen To Headline

One of North America's biggest and best festivals has confirmed the first of its line up with Tennesse's Bonnaroo boasting sets from Bruce Springsteen amongst others.

Set in the Southern state of Tennessee, Bonnaroo is traditionally dominated by 'jam bands' - a uniquely American phenomenon that comprises post-prog groups playing seemingly endless sets on twin necked guitars.

However, the festival usually has a number of surprises and this year the bill is jam packed with talent. Bruce Springsteen will follow his recent energetic performance at the Superbowl by playing a set accompanied by the E Street Band. Apparently the singer's only Norht American festival date, this bodes well for potential Glastonbury slots.

Joining The Boss are Nine Inch Nails, David Byrne, Wilco, Al Green and a host of other talent. The eclectic bill ranges from the world of hip hop (hello Beastie Boys, Snoop Dogg) to red hot new indie acts (TV On The Radio!).

But true to form, Bonnaroo will also feature not one but two mammoth sets from jam band Phish. Set those psychedelic head bands to stun!

Bonnaroo takes place between June 11th - 14th in Manchester, Tennessee.
